Speed, Agility, Plyometric

Our speed program is more than just being able to run fast. It is designed to improve: acceleration, directional speed, explosiveness, jumping ability, quickness of movement, form and technique. Gains in speed are generally due to improved leg strength and power, as well as to improved running mechanics. Cary-On Fitness uses two categories of exercises to improve absolute speed: sprint resistance training and sprint assisted training. The speed program also incorporates plyometrics, a form of dynamic action resistance training used to develop explosive power and jumping ability.

Highlights: Woodway Force Treadmill, Sled, Speed Ladder, Resistive Tubing
